Calisthenics Tour

Step back in time and push your physical limits with our exclusive Stoic run and Body- Workout around Kalimarmaro. This ongoing, bi-weekly tour combines the best of ancient Greek fitness ideals with a reflection on the recurring themes of decadence in Western society, all while offering a rigorous workout.

The Athenian Calisthenics park

This tour connects ancient wisdom with personal strength, allowing participants to engage their minds and bodies in self-discovery.

Beginning at the towering statue of Alexander the Great, you will run through the streets of Athens, stopping at key historical landmarks like the Presidential Palace and the Stadium. The workout includes a 5-kilometer run interspersed with calisthenics such as pull-ups, burpees, and crunches, all designed to challenge your body like the ancient Greeks once embraced physical prowess.

As one of our history teachers used to say, “The past is a dark continent”—a realm full of mysteries, much like the untapped potential of our physical selves. On this tour, we connect the lessons of history with personal strength, offering participants a way to engage both mind and body in a journey of self-discovery.

For the ancients, physical fitness—the same endurance and strength required for this tour—was viewed as a remedy for societal decline, a pathway to rejuvenating both body and spirit.
