Welcome to Athens City Tours! These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Athens City Tours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Definitions
• Company refers to Athens City Tours.
• Client/Customer/You refers to the person or persons booking or participating in a tour with the Company.
• Tour refers to any excursion, service, or package offered by the Company.
2. Booking and Payment
• Booking Confirmation: A tour is confirmed upon receipt of payment, subject to availability.
• Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. We accept PayPal and Cash.
• Cancellation by Client: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable.
• Cancellation by Company: We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to weather, safety concerns, or insufficient participation. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or reschedule the tour based on the client’s preference.
3. Refund Policy
• Standard Refunds: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method and may take up to 7–10 business days.
• No-Show Policy: Clients who do not appear for a scheduled tour will forfeit any refund or rescheduling option.
4. Health and Safety
• Physical Fitness: Certain tours may involve physical activity, including walking, hiking, or climbing. Clients are responsible for assessing their ability to participate safely.
• Health Requirements: Please notify the Company of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of booking. The Company is not responsible for adverse consequences arising from undisclosed health conditions.
• Insurance: Personal travel insurance is recommended. Athens City Tours is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses incurred during the tour.
5. Tour Participation and Behavior
• Conduct: Clients are expected to act respectfully toward tour guides, other guests, and local communities. The Company reserves the right to terminate a tour or refuse participation to anyone who engages in disruptive or inappropriate behavior without refund.
• Waivers and Releases: Some tours may require participants to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks associated with the activity.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
• Personal Information: We collect personal information solely for booking and communication purposes. Your information will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
• Photography: Photos taken by Athens City Tours staff during tours may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your tour guide.
7. Liability
• General Liability: Athens City Tours is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from any event, including but not limited to accidents, delays, strikes, weather, or any act beyond our control.
• Third-Party Services: Some tours may involve third-party services (e.g., transportation, activities) not operated by Athens City Tours. We are not responsible for the conduct of these third-party providers.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Athens City Tours reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services after changes signifies acceptance.
